Harper Equestrian is based in Salisbury, NC and is owned by Morgan Whitehead Harper. Morgan is the primary instructor and travels to surrounding areas to teach. Her students are all ages and skill levels, and they are active in several disciplines (eventing, show jumping, dressage, fox hunting, Pony Club, and pleasure riding). Morgan's philosophy is that a balanced, confident rider produces a balanced, happy horse. The focus is on building a strong foundation for both the horse and rider, using a systematic approach to ensure a comprehensive training program; this also encourages the development of a "thinking rider." An important part of the instruction process includes identifying and setting goals, then developing a plan to help the rider be successful in reaching those goals.
